Recently we visited our favourite mountains the Dolomites where MoJo even went skiing and Merrion revisited Hotel Rosa Alpina. This remains in her top 5 of hotels in Italy (and maybe the world!) be it summer or winter, Hotel Rosa Alpina continues to come up trumps with its dedicated service, extraordinarily delicious cuisine and fabulous ambience. |

Further south in the Val d'Orcia, we discovered a delightful new boutique hotel Locanda San Francesco in Montepulciano as well La Foce, an estate in the Val d'Orcia once owned by writer Iris Origo. The main villa is set amidst the famous gardens of La Foce and other properties on the estate such as Villa Sassaia are stylish and come highly recommended. |

Over on the emerald isle of Sardinia we have recently acquired Villa Sire. What can be more appealing than a beach side property (sleeps 12) with spacious accommodation of an excellent standard - perfect for family gatherings... please do call or email for more information. |

Cookery Courses
A recent addition to Merrion's portfolio in Italy are cookery courses at Castello del Aquila in the hills of Lunigiana in Northern Tuscany. Perfect for private groups as well as couples or singles wishing to meet and have lots of fun in a relaxed and stimulating environment.
